Bottom two photos: I ordered a meal from MrBeast Burger while working on this project to see what the current experience was like.

Breathing Zaniness into a Brand

I was heavily involved in this project during my stint at Enlisted. If you’re unfamiliar, MrBeast is a YouTube celebrity. He’s a 25-yr-old guy who does crazy stints based on charity and kindness, and his primary audience is composed of teenage boys.

When we came into this project, the MrBeast Burger brand had already launched, but it needed sprucing up. MrBeast’s videos are conversational, funny, wild, and generous. The dripping “MrBeast Burger” wordmark was inherited from the old brand, as were the retro toon-style illustrations. However, there was no typographic system, no elements tying the brand together, and only primary colors being used.

My role included brainstorming and influencing the final typographic palette and color palette, and the packaging designs below are 100% me, with the idea being that the colors would be screen printed to overlap, and the little text callouts with the title of the food slapped on as stickers.
